Pipe. Mini Film

Genre: Sports Drama / Coming-of-Age
Format: Mini Film / Short Film
Runtime: 10–15 minutes

After five years away from competitive surfing, Ahmee Keoka returns to the waves with one goal: earn her place in the rookie season.

Once a promising young surfer, Ahmee chose college over competition and has since surfed only for herself. But standing on the beach at La Jolla, surrounded by competitors—including her younger brother Tucker—she begins to wonder if five years away have changed her too much.

As the competition begins, Ahmee struggles against more than the waves. A failed first attempt puts her behind, while the pressure of competing against her brother forces her to confront the doubts she's carried since returning.

But Ahmee refuses to let one mistake define her.

Wave by wave, she fights her way back into the competition until she is given one final opportunity. With her rookie-season spot on the line, Ahmee faces the biggest wave of the competition—and the biggest test of her confidence.

Pipe is a story about resilience, family, self-doubt, and finding the courage to trust yourself again. Through the ocean, Ahmee discovers that returning to something you love doesn't mean returning as the same person.

Sometimes, you have to face the biggest wave to realize you never lost yourself.

See you in the pipe.
